About
Providenza is an agri-cultural project, artist residency, and studio space situated in the Nebbiu region of Corsica, between the villages of Pieve and Rapale. Founded by filmmaker Antoine Viviani in 2016, Providenza transforms an abandoned family farming land into a hybrid space that merges arts and research. It hosts international and Corsican artists through its main and partner residency programs, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. The residency offers immersive work experiences in a natural environment and runs a farm and restaurant open to the public during the summer. Providenza also conducts workshops and masterclasses, engaging the local community and fostering cultural exchange. It is supported by various cultural and governmental organizations, including the European Commission.
