Equisoain is a place of new beginnings — Eki (sun) · Soain (place of). A bio-restored 14th-century tower house beneath La Higa mountain in Navarra, held within 400 hectares of forest, meadow, and stream. Sustained by solar energy and rainwater. Space · Time · Matter. An artist-run residency with a 119 m² shared studio, outdoor workspace, 5 bedrooms, and 3 shared kitchens — an invitation to let the place genuinely shape the work, in method, material, and rhythm. Who can apply: Artists working in visual art, performance, moving image, installation, ceramics, textile, sound, or interdisciplinary practices with a genuine dialogue with nature. It is an opportunity to slowness, uncertainty, and the productive disorientation of an unfamiliar place.
