Tsung-Yeh Arts and Cultural Center is located in the Madou district, on the northern outskirts of Tainan City. Madou is a tranquil and leisurely small town with a laid-back lifestyle, located approximately 50 minutes drive from downtown Tainan. The cultural center as the factory and headquarter of the Japanese Meiji Sugar Manufacturing Corporation, Tsung-Yeh began operation in January 1912. The four existing buildings have been declared by Tainan City Government as monuments for preservation, including the Red-Brick Office, the Guest House, the Red Brick Craft Hall, and the Factory Manager's Dormitory. , the Red Brick Office and the Red Brick Craft Hall are provided as two exhibition halls for the resident artists to create and exhibit their works.
