Verpėjos Creative Pastures is an artist residency program in Kabeliai village, Lithuania, inviting interdisciplinary artists for a two-month stay in June–September to explore themes of traditional rural lifestyle, nature conservation, and global changes through art research projects. Residents live together in a traditional homestead, share responsibilities for shepherding 40 sheep, and engage with local communities, animals, and each other, culminating in a presentation event. The program provides a EUR 1400 grant, travel support, materials allowance, team assistance, and events like artist talks.
