Venezia Contemporanea is a partially sponsored artist residency program in Venice, Italy, offering 2-4 week individual residencies at La Storta, a private exhibition space with a fully equipped livable studio. The program prioritizes critical projects addressing marginalization, discrimination, environmental issues, and site-specific or long-term research-based work inspired by Venice or the Laguna, with artists retaining ownership of their work and receiving curatorial support and exhibition opportunities.
