About Manang Artist Residency
The Manang Artist Residency was founded by Nepali Architect Amar Gurung and Australian artist Jo Rankine. We are an artist-run organisation. We aim to offer a space for all creatives to deepen their connections to self, place, personal practice and community. We offer the residency twice per year to suit the high altitude conditions. Our Spring residency starts on April 1 and our Autumn Residency on October 1.
