Ucross Foundation provides a serene retreat setting for artists, located on a vast 20,000-acre ranch in northeastern Wyoming. Since its inception in 1981, with the artist residency programs starting in 1983, Ucross has been a nurturing ground for artists to focus intensively on their creative endeavors, away from the distractions of daily life.
