About Nelimarkka Museum

The Nelimarkka Museum's artist residency, established in 1985, welcomes professional artists from various fields in Finland and abroad to work in a quiet, inspiring environment. The program offers residency periods of 1-3 months at Villa Nelimarkka, a historic studio villa built by artist Eero Nelimarkka in 1932, along with a newer Architecture and Space Residency launched in at Villa Väinölä designed by Alvar Aalto.
