Rise and Repaint is a global online membership platform supporting women and non-binary visual artists through community, professional development, and access to art world opportunities. Co-founded by Pegah Kargar and Liezel Strauss, the initiative merges the missions of Repaint History and ArtGirlRising to address the gender gap in the art industry. The membership offers weekly check-ins, monthly guest speaker events, curated workshops, and artist bootcamps that nurture both artistic practice and professional growth. Members gain access to a robust digital library of over 40 sessions, practical tools like pricing calculators and exhibition planning templates, and participation in a virtual annual artist residency. The program is structured around monthly themes focused on critical topics such as rejection, promotion, pricing, and sustaining a long-term art career.
