About
BONFIRE is an international art platform offering transformative online residencies, personalized mentoring, and global cultural exchanges. Initiated by artist duo LEMOS + LEHMANN, BONFIRE creates a supportive digital space designed to nurture dialogue, experimentation, and cross-cultural collaboration. Rooted in inclusivity and co-creation, it fosters a global community of contemporary artists, thinkers, and cultural agents. Through curated online residencies and mentorship, artists engage in deeply reflective and professionally enriching experiences guided by guest speakers, previous residents, and facilitators. BONFIRE is known for its intimate scale—accepting only ten artists per cohort—which ensures close-knit interaction and personalized guidance. Their programs emphasize interdisciplinary and intercultural dialogue, often culminating in new artistic directions and ongoing collaborations. The initiative builds upon the founders’ extensive experience in art education, artist residencies, and socially engaged practices across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. As a digital fireplace, BONFIRE continues to evolve as a meaningful nexus for international artistic exchange and mutual support.
