About

Artist Commons is a year-long virtual program designed to support contemporary artists through community, critique, and creative development. Built around four 10-week quarters, the program fosters accountability, progress, and artistic momentum in a structured online environment. Artists participate in weekly cohort meetings, one-on-one critiques, lectures, workshops, and writing clinics. The curriculum covers both creative practice and the professional aspects of being an artist, including portfolio development, art history, and the business of art. Sessions are scheduled to accommodate participants in both the Americas and Europe, with replays available for many events. The platform includes a private online community for ongoing discussions, peer feedback, and resource sharing. The program emphasizes collaborative spirit and thoughtful feedback, selecting participants who will contribute meaningfully to the group dynamic. Artist Commons combines flexibility with rigor to help artists grow individually and together, wherever they are in the world.
