NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore is a research-oriented, studio-based residency programme that has supported over 210 artists, curators, and researchers since 2014. The programme provides fully-funded residencies with curatorial support, enabling multiform creative processes and facilitating interdisciplinary knowledge production. Residents become active contributors to the Centre's cultural life and develop public programmes including talks, workshops, open studios, screenings, and performances.

Onchain Artist Residency

The Onchain Artist Residency calls for artists to engage with questions of technology, mediation, documentation, and access. Structured as a remote residency with designed online community engagements, it supports the development of research-led practices at the intersection of contemporary art and digital culture. At the centre of this edition is OOPS, a framework that brings attention to origin, source material, archival form, and the systems through which artworks are organised and made legible. The residency is especially relevant for artists interested in how blockchain and related digital infrastructures might function not only as technical tools, but as conceptual and curatorial conditions. **What the residency is about** Selected artists will be invited to work across interrelated disciplines: * The role of technology in shaping artistic production. * Blockchain as a mode of documentation and archival practice. * The translation of references and source materials into digital formats. * The development of methodologies for organising creative data. * The use of datasets to open new ways of accessing, interpreting, and experiencing artworks.
