Kimonos Art Center, located in Paphos, Cyprus, is an independent art center that brings together various artistic disciplines and promotes creativity through workshops, classes, and residencies. The “Episkeptes” residency program offers artists from around the world the opportunity to engage with the local creative community while developing their projects in the center’s well-equipped studios. The program is designed to foster interaction and collaboration between international artists and local creatives. Each artist selected for the residency receives accommodation, access to studio space, technical assistance, and financial support for travel and materials. The residency culminates in a presentation of the artists’ work in a local art space, curated by the center in collaboration with the participants. The program emphasizes artistic quality and is open to visual artists working in various disciplines such as sculpture, painting, photography, installation, and multimedia.
