The Riga Circus Residency Program, run by Rīgas cirks in Riga, Latvia, serves as a laboratory for new forms of artistic research and practices, primarily focused on contemporary circus arts, while also welcoming interdisciplinary artists for site-specific projects related to the circus or the city. It supports up to 4 artists or groups, providing working spaces, accommodation, and for , a daily stipend of 40 EUR per person plus travel for Baltic applicants, with residencies typically lasting 2-3 weeks. The program promotes circus development in Latvia and the Baltic region through experimentation, collaboration, and community engagement.
