Conceived as an open research space, this programme is not a therapeutic programme. It is open to artists of all nationalities whose practice resonates with the notion of the ‘clinical’. This refers to a situated approach, as close as possible to the subject, ‘at the patient’s bedside’. Within the context of the residency, this approach shifts towards the artistic field: creation is envisaged here as a grounded, relational practice, attentive to the contexts in which it takes shape. The programme thus promotes approaches that remain as close as possible to real-life narratives and experiences, and which engage in a reflection on the challenges of care.
