About

AiR in Örebro County is an international and interdisciplinary artist-in-residence program run by Region Örebro County, inviting contemporary artists, craftsmen, and designers to live and work for 5-6 weeks in participating municipalities such as Nora, Hällefors, Frövifors, and Örebro. The fully funded residency provides accommodation, studio/workspace, a working stipend of 36,000 SEK, and travel expenses, while facilitating engagement with local institutions, communities, and the public. It aims to build professional networks, develop the regional art scene, and support new artistic processes.
