The Prague City of Literature Residency is a program for foreign writers, translators, poets, and playwrights to live and work in Prague's city center, focusing on projects themed around the city to enhance its literary scene as a UNESCO City of Literature. Residents stay in fully accommodated apartments like the Kafka Residency, participate in local literary events, and provide a text inspired by their stay for promotional use. It offers eight two-month residencies annually, covering accommodation, travel, and a monthly stipend of approximately 15,000 CZK (600 EUR).
