The Deering Estate Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program in Miami supports professional visual, literary, performing, and cross-disciplinary artists through studio and non-studio residencies lasting 2 to 12 months, providing access to historic studio spaces and encouraging public engagement and collaboration within the estate's natural and cultural environment. Artists must commit at least 30 hours weekly on-site but are responsible for their own housing, supplies, transportation, and expenses, with no application fee or stipend offered.
