The Berggruen Institute in Los Angeles hosts the Antikythera speculative design-research Studio, a five-month program from February to June for researchers from diverse fields including design, architecture, computer science, philosophy, and digital media. Participants collaborate on multidisciplinary team-based briefs in Los Angeles, with visits to Mexico City and Seoul, producing outputs like theory, cinema, software, prototypes, and policies. The program is directed by Nicolay Boyadjiev and emphasizes steering computation toward a viable future.
