Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture, founded in 2011 in Nongpho, Ratchaburi, Thailand, offers an International Artist in Residence Program focused on community engagement, cultural exchange, and multidisciplinary practice. Situated in a Tai Yuan heritage town, the program invites international artists, curators, and researchers to stay for periods ranging from three weeks to three months. Artists engage with the community through workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative events. The program promotes contemporary art in rural and urban contexts, fostering creative interactions and direct engagement with the local culture and landscape. Artists can work in shared studio spaces with access to basic tools, and they are provided accommodation within a community-centric setting. The residency is self-funded by artists, with a participation fee of $100 per week for open calls, while invited artists may receive additional support. This artist-run residency emphasizes the importance of a shared artistic experience, community integration, and artistic development through critical discussion and cultural immersion.

Located on the margins where urbanism meets countryside, it offers a process-oriented space for artists to immerse in the local reality, disconnect from usual environments, and reflect on their context. Facilities include a private bedroom, optional 40m2 studio suitable for small performances or computer-based work, a bicycle, art scene introduction, and airport pickup, with residencies typically lasting 1-4 weeks for a fee.
