CYENS “Boundary-Crosser” Residency

Nicosia, Cyprus

The Boundary-Crosser is an artist-in-residence programme hosted by the CYENS Centre of Excellence in Nicosia's historic centre, offering artists the opportunity to explore creative intersections with technologists across eight participating research labs. Selected artists collaborate with CYENS researchers to generate artistic work through Creative Placemaking processes while engaging with the local community.

Cyprus Artist Residency

Limassol, Cyprus

The Cyprus Artist Residency, hosted by the Cyprus Academy of Art (CAA) in central Limassol, offers artists 4 to 12 weeks of individual workspace, accommodation, and access to facilities like photo/video studios, darkrooms, and digital printing to facilitate idea exchange with the local art scene. Residents dedicate one day per week to interacting with CAA students through tutorials or seminars and conclude with an exhibition. It emphasizes contemporary art practices in a cosmopolitan city rich in cultural heritage.

Name of Residency: MeMe Art ResAiming to minimise the gap between the public and the local artistic community, MeMeraki’s main Residency Program hosts local and international artists, providing for three 2-3 month Residency Periods in the course of a running year. Its schedule consists of various events namely: Meet the Artist Dinner, Open Studios, Critiques, Lecture Series, Studio Visits, Discussion Panels and various Group Shows.Artists apply mainly through open calls, or by special invitation

The Pharos Trust

The Pharos Arts Foundation (also referred to as The Pharos Trust) is a non-profit cultural foundation in Nicosia, Cyprus, offering a residency program for artists, musicians, scholars, and composers to create new works, deliver lectures, workshops, and masterclasses. It supports both established and emerging creators from Cyprus and abroad in inspiring surroundings, fostering artistic exchange at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. The program is part of broader initiatives including festivals, exhibitions, and the planned Pharos Centre for Art, Culture and Dialogue with accommodation for residents.
